I LOVE to save money (new series coming soon-be on the look out)! It is something that gives me a a momentary high…..ha ha ha! Seriously, it really thrills me to be able to save our family money each month. I find tips from all over and from other ladies who have been doing things for a while.
It pays to ask other moms or maybe older ladies in your church or family. You’ll be surprised what you learn. I love picking things up along the way!
This particular recipe was given to me by my dear friend Joan (who also has 7 children).
This is a great way to save money……and pinch penny’s where you can.
Easy Homemade Dishwasher Detergent
Things you will need:
1 1/2 cups of Borax
1 1/2 cups of Baking Soda
1 Tbsp table salt
2 packages of unsweetened Lemon (only) Kool-aid packets ( I use no-name brand)
1/2 cup vinegar to rinse dispenser (this will help with the cloudy look)
Directions: Mix all the dry ingredients in a container of choice with lid
**Make note…the kool-aid packet HAS TO BE UNSWEETENED.
Enjoy saving money…..if you like this recipe, be sure to “pin it” or share it!
