Yes, it’s been a LONG  while since I’ve really written and put some effort into writing a few articles.  Why?  (you may be wondering)

Well, first things have been SUPER busy aroundhere.    From finishing up home school with the kids, we literally jump right into our Missions Conference at our church.  This is usually a Saturday night to Wednesday night and we are plain out busy from morning till night with activities and services.

After missions conference, we had one of my older girl’s friends from PA. come and stay with us for a week all while trying to do away with our “school room” (that’s another article in itself).  Talk about a major undertaking…..WOW!  From selling things, to purging things, to painting and moving everything to another room.  It’s been exhausting!

But…..while ALL of this has been going on.  There was one other “secret” we’ve been keeping!   What we’ve been keeping a “secret” up until now is we are expecting our 8th child!!!   We are thrilled to know the Lord has blessed us again and (Lord willing if all goes well) we will be expecting the arrival of our 8th child in December!

I’ve been very consumed with being “under the weather” feeling very less than energetic to do anything.  Of course I’m still up and functioning with most tasks, but it’s been a chore in most cases!  Ugh!  (I’m praying I’ll be ending this phase SOON)

baby

here is a glimpse of our tiny little peanut!

Things I HAVE been doing is walking at least 1 to 2 times a day. (I’m am usually very active when it comes to staying fit, pregnancy or not) Drinking LOTS of hot, green tea (that helps me a lot), and trying to rest when I have a chance.

Some other exciting news we are waiting on is finding out the gender of our next child.   Being I’m “old” now….I’ve got to go through MANY more tests than younger ladies.   One of my blood tests didn’t come out so well, which lead to another blood test.  While doing this blood test…we should have results of whether this is a girl or boy in 8 to 10 days!  WAY BEFORE THE NEXT ULTRASOUND!   So we are thrilled to be finding out soon!

I’m hoping to be back in the saddle of writing and getting more engaged very soon with everyone!  These past few weeks have really gotten me off my game and I’ve lost focus with writing.   As I just ended my 1st trimester and now entering the 2nd one….I’m praying to feel more like myself!   I’m also looking forward to knowing in another week or so, what the Lord has given to us!

Any guesses what you think we are having?  Girl or Boy?  Let me hear your predictions………
