Everybody can help somebody is a tremendous book! I was not expecting the emotions that came about with reading this book.
This story is based on a true story. It was intriguing along with teaching such a great principle of showing how everyone can help and have compassion on someone! What a beautiful story!
As I read this book with the kids…..my emotions took over (granted I’m pregnant right now too) but, the story was so touching and real that it moved me to tears! I had to stop the book several times to gain my composer! Can you imagine what the kids were thinking?
Everybody can help somebody gave me the opportunity to share with our children the importance of sharing love towards another whether they are different from us or not. We are to share God’s love and we all can HELP and do something that will make a difference in someone else’s life!
I completely recommend this book to every family! This book is geared towards children ages 4 to 8 but in my opinion it can be read by much older kids as well. The message is tremendous, even adults can take away something too!
Here is a brief description of Everybody Can Help Somebody:Little Denver grew up very poor, and he didn’t get to go to school. As time passed, Denver decided to hop a train to the big city for a different life. But that life was difficult, and Denver spent many years as a homeless man. But God showed His love through two people who were very different from Denver. Based on Same Kind of Different As Me, the emotional tale of Denver Moore’s life story, this unique children’s book includes Denver’s original art. Parents and children alike will be moved by this powerful story and will never forget the unexpected and life-changing things that can happen when we help somebody.

Looks great! We love teaching our children about serving others and this looks like it would be a great addition to our collection 🙂
My son would learn that God put us on the earth to serve others and to serve Him!
I like that this book helps my children see that can use anyone for His will and to bless others.
This is a great way to keep encouraging our children and ourselves to look for those we can help and serve, to get outside our self focused day to day. Looks great!
