Mercer Mayer books are timeless treasures! It was a wonderful opportunity to review these two new books from Tommy Nelson. “It’s True” and “You go first” by Mercer Mayer were wonderful books that are teaching valuable lessons of telling the truth and putting others first.
It’s wonderful to read books to your children that also teach lessons for them about honesty and not being selfish.

Hi, Stopping by from Word Filled Wed. Your comments were closed on your prayer post, just FYI, you might want to change that or know one will be able to leave you comments. I have a “chubby book” I call it, all my prayer cards are in there for each day and I’ve been doing it for almost 2 years now. I just love it. It’s a great way to go back to a specific time and see what was going on and how God answered a prayer. Organizing prayer can be so powerful. Blessings.

Mercer Mayer was the favorite of one of my boys 25 yrs ago! I would love to win these to start that love with my grandchildren. I didn’t know the books came in these character building series…I really need to look into them….thanks for bringing this to my attention.
