I had the wonderful opportunity to preview “We Are the Gardeners” by Joanna Gaines and kids. I believe EVERYONE knows of Joanna Gaines from the popular show “Fixer Upper”, and she just wrote (along with her kids) her first kids book. (I’m giving away a copy down below….go enter!)
My thoughts on the book: I first loved the adorable cover, with a very simple but classy design. The illustrations were just perfect in capturing each child and the family in action.
“We Are the Gardeners” is such an uplifting and encouraging read. It encourages children not to give up if you fail the first time, but to press on and learn from your mistakes. It’s very inspiring and well put together for any age child. (or adult…:)
What a delightful book to enjoy this time of year when spring is in full bloom and a wonderful time to go and plant something yourself or with your family!! Highly recommended book and makes a wonderful gift as well.
“We are the Gardeners” is sold anywhere books can be found. Here are a few HERE HERE OR HERE

We love to grow zinnias, but might also try lavender in Mass this year.😉
We like to grow herbs, and flowers.
I love cucumbers, strawberries, peppers, green beans, zucchini, pumpkins, and the list goes on and on
I would love to have a garden again for simple veggies and watermelon!!! Growing up as a kid we always had a giant garden and I treasure many memories in it. Now that I have 4 kids we live in the suburbs 😭 someday we hope to have more land 🍉🥒🥬
Tomatoes, cucumbers & zucchini!!! Yummm!!!
I would love to grow herbs and it would be so fun to have a lemon tree. 😊
I absolutely love flowers of any kind, yellow especially is my liking. We plant huge gardens here, we are a family of 9, so a lot of canning goes on. My biggest surprise was planting okra for the first time a couple years ago, I did not know they produced the most amazing flowers! We like okra, but not as much as I love the flowers, I’ll plant a ton this year just to enjoy the blossoms😉
